WWII at Home launch event

To formally launch WWII at Home and commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific (VP) Day, the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) and Centre for Architecture Victoria | Open House Melbourne, co-hosted a live panel discussion with guest speakers Professor Kate Darian-Smith of the University of Tasmania, and Professor Julie Willis of the University of Melbourne — two of Australia’s leading experts in the social and design transformations that occurred during and as a result of World War II. The discussion was hosted and moderated by the co-curators of the WWII at Home project, Felicity Watson (National Trust of Australia (Victoria)) and Tim Leslie (Centre for Architecture Victoria | Open House Melbourne).
